Voting Question: Why am I turning into God?

I am nice of freaking out because I feel like I am starting to develop these god-like powers, and it's really freaking me out. I've been having really bizarre conversations with people, like talking backwards to them as I've realized that I understand time lines forward and backwards (backwards time-lines are really scary, full of satanic back-masked messages in songs and the notion that your birth is actually a death where you receive thrown back into your mom's womb by bad doctors.) I had this conversation with my pal last night and now I am really freaking out because at first I thought my pal was joking when he reported back to me that I successfully sent him into a state of hell after I told him he wasn't in heaven (he was bragging that he was in heaven, which set me off): The weird thing is, I'm not even really interested in religion. And I've also been receiving really odd information about the system of where we are in general. Apparently, the solar system is nice of a macro-fractal of the atomic element fluorine. The reason why our star is made entirely of hydrogen is not simply because it's the first element on the periodic table in a logical series, but because it's highly combustible with fluorine. Resolved Question: Swimming pool covers, rental house with odd debris filled pool . Need cover advice!?

Ug, I sympathize with pool owners now! However can you afford one of these things in CA?? This is every the info I have on the problem, a bit long... sorry! I am paying an absurd extra amount of money to rent a home with a pool and spa. I mean I now know I'm paying over $600 more for a home with a pool than the similar home next door without!? Not knowing better, and with only one week to find a place, I must eat my possess mistake and burn good money. The landlord is the ultimate cheap skate and neighbors had to put a lean on this property because she wouldn't fix the rotted joint privacy Fence. This is mandatory, let alone every the other needed repairs, especially a broken spa heater that in now 4 months she hasn't fixed, but instead driven the pool guy to quit by not paying him for trying to keep the stuff out of this pool. We pay her to pay him. every because my DH thought it would help my illness to have a warm spa. :-( The bad pool (worst the pool guy ever say) is in the shade of 5 CA Pepper trees which the LL won't clip down. I'm new to this climate, but since I've been here, I can't look how any idiot could be suckered into believe these trees are evergreens and good for pool shade! Anyway, there is sun for 4 early morning hours on this thing. Very uninviting so far. every winter, a neighbor warned me, dead pepper tree leaves fall in each day in high winds that never end. Spring..... first the greens blossoms, then the weak dead leaves, green leaves, and I thought seeds or husks. Now, STILL dropping dead leaves, like a shedding cat, and now these difficult greed peppercorn fruits, millions of them, will be falling in a few weeks. Rain or shine, this thing can't even be controlled with 3 times daily cleanings which I refuse to do every winter too. I'm disabled and can't keep it up. Left for even a day, the pumps clog and baskets split, the pumps sound like air compressors gone wild in the middle of the night. It's an bad monster!! Anyway, the absurd icy pool was once painted dark blue too. The paint is bleached to spots and streaks. The worse feature besides being below the pepper trees and shade, is the shape of a triangle (@24' by 24' at least) with a 12' round deep end on the point, barrier than 9' useless spa. If I were to buy a cover, the length is 36' by 24W, but sliced in some space age shape, or Egyptian symbol fallen over. A wasted of half a cover! The picture I try to paint is this is a rental home I care nothing about and plan to leave in a year. Think jury rigging, homemade, scrap... just as long as the solution works and I can do it. :-) I can't receive rid of the trees. I can't afford an expensive cover since I'm out of this place when the year lease is up. Not to mention, how does one receive a cover for such a shaped pool? The pool came with no cover or anything for cleaning than the basics. I'd drain the thing and ignore it if it was allowed in CA. :-( I need any reasonable suggestions people have for keeping the crud from the pool mall year round. Leaf nets it seems have to go over winter covers?? Plus cost a lot... I had thought I found hang it below the silly trees and run the other side to the home for a complete back yard cover.LOL I don't know why one costs so much anyway. Seems there would be a summer version or something! Solar covers are also something that I could leave on that water every year. I'm back to the cost and shape again... Have had pulmonary fibrosis since 1999. My O2 blood oxygen level has been running 92% at the Doctor's office. I tell the Doctor it's not fair to take it when I have been resting in his office. I just want to sit here and watch TV or play poker on the computer,, no energy at every. My family depends on me to receive stuff done. My wifes knees are shot. We are both 57. We have an inground pool that is getting harder and harder for me to open, close and keep up with. My family only knows I'm out of breath when I arrive in from working outside, they don't know how bad it is, except my daughter pulled me out of the trash can I passed out and fell in. Along with taking care of the yard, trimming my trees, normal home owner stuff, I'm shot if I exert myself. Sometimes the entire next day. I cant afford to have a pool boy and a lawn service. Would oxygen give me more energy? My Doctor said he doesn't want to receive me started on oxygen yet because I will become dependent on it. I'm sure it gets lower than the 92%, resting at the Doctors Office. I don't even have energy to receive any exercise. When I bend over I receive light headed, if I walk, I run out of gas. The thing is last year I was doing some walking and felt a little better, it has been a long winter here. I have gotten no exercise since last year, except running the snow blower. If I start coughing difficult I pass out and wake up not knowing where I am for a few seconds. I have learned how to live with that, just don't cough, no matter how bad I need to. Ride it out and cough gently,, that works. They gave me prednisone, some ungodly amount 4 times a day, that I threw away 10 years ago... I started taking Oils after dinner every day,,, 2, 1000 flax oil gel caps, a 1000 Vitamin E gel cap, a fish oil 1000, an aloe vera (the biggest GNC has) and a Caltrate or OsCal. Sometimes, not always, I use an albuterol inhaler when I feel short of breath. For example, my Grandson called this morning wanting to go swimming on no notice. We live in Michigan and have a short swimming season. I just got it opened a week ago but it's dirty again already. It's difficult because it's surrounded with pine trees. The needles are always on the carpeted pool deck and I have to wash it off with the hose and the pool needs to be vacuumed again. Take the solar cover off full of water and put it back on... I had to tell my grandson no, now I feel bad. I don't have an automatic pool vac, I have to do it the old fashioned way, with a pole. Once I receive started it's not that bad. I made some extra strong coffee and drank it till I'm bug-eyed and I still don't want to clean the pool or do anything. So,, what herbs can I take that will give me a kick in the pants to receive me started and maybe help my 02? I hate the jitters. I asked the Doctor what I could take and he said they stopped giving energy pills out in the 60's. Cheap Vitamin B12 from WalMart makes me jittery. It's only too bad the herbs are so expensive. Again, sorry to be so long, I could just use a little advice here. I feel absolutely lost and overwhelmed. The pulmonary fibrosis came from my job as a Dental Technician. We used miles of asbestos, tearing it off a roll, sending dust from it into the air, then after burning it out at 1800 degrees or so, you use a hammer to break the mold for gold or metal crowns, surrounded with the asbestos. That sends fried particles from the asbestos into the air.The asbestos was about as thick as 2 business cards and 2 inches wide. I used that from 1969 until 1983 when they came up with a substitute. Then I had to sandblast the castings, that was really dusty using 60 micron aluminum oxide. It is so fine, if you toss a handfull into the air, it takes 3-4 minutes for it to every land. Also lots of plaster dust and grinding metal. I have also got a breath of muratic acid a couple times and blew out smoke. Anyways,, sorry, I just want you to look the whole picture. We bought a 8' generic Intex pool with pump/filter system at Walmart. The kids adore it. I have a solar cover for it, we cover it every night, and currently it has a floater with a 3" chlorine tablet inside of it. It's been in there for 6 days now, and the tablet is still there and pretty big. The Chlorine we got was the HTH 3 in 1. It santizies the pool and prevents algae. Given that the pump is not that great, we use a net to receive every of the remaining things before we go in it everyday. As of yesterday, the water started looking a little cloudy, when everyone got out. My question is...how do I keep the water nice and clear? Resolved Question: I would like to cover the top of my swimming pool with ball pit balls. Is this a good idea?

I'm hoping the balls will act as little insulators and that the kids will be able to swim between them. I've seen this before used in winter time in Vail Colorado at the expensive resorts and condos, but the pools were heated and mine is not. would this work? Resolved Question: Buying our 1st home-seems fishy!?

We started escrow on our 1st home June 22, 2010. The seller requested that we sign an addendum that he can withdraw funds from our escrow account on the 18th day, which is tomorrow. He was supposed to start the major work on the home( new pool equipment, solar, resurfacing, fix windows, door knobs, etc) 2 days after we started escrow to be sure that it would be done in time for appraisal and that we could close in 45 days. As of today, NOTHING has been done. This morning our real estate agent (who is representing us and the seller) calls and asks that we sign a cancellation of escrow since the seller is not doing what he is supposed to and has been known to take people's money and delay work so that they are not able to close on time and have to pay a per diem for every day over the contracted closing date. She did not tell us this before now. We also found out that the seller is the owner of the realty company that she works for! Resolved Question: pool was green now it has a blue-ish tint and is really cloudy?

So last week we had a icy spell, so we didn't use the pool at every and had the solar cover on it every week. We went out to check it out Friday, as we were having company over over the weekend and the pool was GREEN!!!! So we instantly put shock into it and ran the filter every day and night. The next morning, Saturday, we checked and it was very foggy. So we went to the pool store and they suggested muric acid and pool clarifier. It's been almost 3 days now and the water is still cloudy and you can look a sort of blueish tint to it. What do we do? We have our family reunion this coming weekend and have alot of people staying at our home, not to mention its suppose to be between 92-100 degrees every this week so we'll want to be in it! With it being so hot out, solar cover is off the pool and probably will remain off for the remainder of this next week. Please help!!!

Resolved Question: at what point is sibling abuse start getting scary?

I have 4 brothers, no sisters. i am a 17 yearold martial artist now, so you know i'm not really in a position to be abused but in the past, ya i actually have PTSD. so my question is at what point does sibling rivalry become abuse? i have had to battle with my brothers since the very fist day i came into the world. i believe my oldest brother's first words when he saw me was "can i hit her with this magazine?" from then on, he enjoyed holding me underwater at pools and at the beach. me and my other brother had a system where if my brother was holding us underwater and one of us held 1 finger up out of the water, that they should go receive an adult cause were about to breath water. i constanly had bruises GALORE! every over my body, my neck from where he would try to strangle me, my back from where he would run up and hit me on the back so i would receive the air knocked out of me, my stomach from where he'd punch me in the solar plexis..... not to mention holding me down and spitting in my face. thats just oen of my brothers! my other older used to like to hold me down and push wet toilet paper in my face and also to drag me around by my hair (tried recently but i fractured his knee out generally freaking out!) then theres my little brother.... he's freaking phsychotic, he loves to grab me by my neck from behind because i freak out. he also loves to make stabbing motions with knives at me, without actually doing anything of course. i do have a tendency to try to exert my dominance over him tho (he's 11). Like if he every of a sudden starts attacking me for whatever reason, sick hold him down until he calms down. luckily im a great deal stronger than him

Open Question: My boyfriend got a job offer in Texas and wants me to go with him.?

My boyfriend is a fairly sucessful guy. He has a stable job that he enjoys. He's just bought a home, and has a few cars, and every-in-every seems quite content. I am 11 years younger and am just out of school. 3 months ago I was blessed with a job that I can look growing into a career - it pays enough to keep me going, and I plan on going back to school at night for my law degree. But last night my boyfriend asks me if I've ever been to Texas. I laughed and said, "God no, why would I ever want to go to Texas?" He then explains to me that two days ago he got a job offer for more money in San Antonio. He mentioned that I might go with him if he decides to take it. His Position: The job is something he'd like. It pays more, and it's in a cheaper area (we live in a big east-coast city). He looked at some real estate, and for $50,000 less than he paid for his 3br home here, he could receive a 4br with a pool, walk-in freezer and solar energy there. It's a few hours from New Orleans, which he loves. Granted, he still has opportunities to be upwardly mobile in his current position. My Position: I have moved, literally, every 4 years of my life. I've never lived in one home longer than 4 years, and I've lived in 8 states in my 22 years of life. In most cases, several houses in each state. I've moved because I was following a man - my dad. I didn't have a choice as a child. I've been on my possess for less than a year now and I just got this great job in a really tough economy. I want to go to law school. I could do this in Texas, granted. But I wouldn't ever want to stay in Texas - I decided a long time ago that no man would ever make me live in a place I didn't want to. Texas is probably the last place on earth I'd ever voluntarily go. The only way I could agree to it is if it were only temporary, until my schooling was over. But then I'd be living out of suitcases for the next few years anyway, and I'm so sleepy of that. I adore my boyfriend. And not to sound callous, but if I move in with him I can donate a lot more of my money toward law school. I've always wanted to receive a little apartment in the city but for this man and law school, I'd be willing to move in with him here. But Texas? God, it would be hell and I'd be miserable! What do I do?

my pool is in ground. 40ft x 15ft . 33,000 gallons. one end of it is deep (8ft) the other side is shallow (4ft). its in the sun most of the day. and the average temperature is now around like 90. I'd like to buy some solar panels to heat the pool so I can use it in the early fall and tardy spring. does anyone know how many solar panels I should receive with what wattage? thanks a lot!

Resolved Question: Why is my pool still green?

I recently purchased a new home and along with it came a 27 foot over ground pool. It is approx 5 feet deep in the middle and maybe 4 feet deep along the outside. I had an 18 foot over ground pool as a child growing up and I remember if the pool ever turned green we would put 2 bottles of bleach in and the next day it would be blue and clear again. Last thursday I put 2 bottles of bleach in my pool but to no avail. So Friday night I put 2 more bottles in. Saturday afternoon it was somewhat blue and clear on one side of the pool. I started vacuuming it and by the time I was done vacuuming the whole pool was green again. So yesterday I put 6 bottles of bleach in. The pool is not green anymore, more of a turquise color but it is cloudy. I checked the chlorine level and it has a ton of chlorine in it, well over the recommended level. Shouldn't it be blue and clear by now? I adjusted the water jet to aim to the side so it's like a whirlpool type of water flow, they had it pointing dirctly into the middle of the pool. I would think with the amount of chlorine I have in the pool no algae would be able to survive? The pool was 96 degrees on Saturday. I took the solar blanket off and now it's down to 84 degrees. I was told the pool is only 2 or 3 years old so I can't imagine the sand in the filter needs to be replaced yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am thinking about putting in a pool within the next 2 years and I have a few questions. If you live in Cali in the Fresno - Bakersfield & Porterville - Lemoore area, you can really help me out. 1) Whats the cost of putting in an in ground pool that is a basic - average with the features listed below? I am looking at a rectangle shaped pool thats 4-8 ft deep, with a C shaped seating area in the shallow side of the pool. Similar to how spas are attached to pools, but just a seating area to hangout in the pool. Other features would be 2 multicolored lights, salt water system and just basic decking. 2) Is a salt water system worth it? The Good? The Bad? Costs? We have difficult water and red/orange algae that grows quickly. I have heard that salt water systems are better at keeping the algae away, any truth in it? 3) Is solar heating worth adding to the pool? Costs? I don't want a gas/elect heater for the pool, its just too $$$ to run. In the summer there are many 100+ days, so the heater would only be used in the spring/fall but not in the winter. Is it better to just have a dark pool surface instead? 4) How much would my electric & water bill go up with having a pool? Right now my elect bill ranges from $35 in the Winter to $150 in the Summer (every those 100+ days). 5) Pool builders- who's good? Bad? How long will it take to build? One pool builder in the area is having a special for $19,900 you receive a 250 sq ft pool with pump, D.E. filter, cleaner, timer, tile, white plaster and 400 sq ft deck. Is that a tiny or average size pool? Is white plaster the same as Gunite? How much should I expect to keep if I receive a pool in the off season? What is the average tier 1 rate for loans for a pool? note: I refuse to use home equity.
